SenseGlove Nova 2
A new level of immersion in VR training
By integrating Active Contact Feedback, Nova 2 enables users to feel VR objects in the palm of their hands.

SenseGlove Nova 2
Virtual training, research and multiplayer interactions now feel more natural than ever.
- Set of two gloves, left and right
- Active Contact Feedback, force feedback, vibrotactile feedback, and finger tracking
- Sizes S, M, and L
- One year limited warranty from shipment
Performance is all about feedback

Active Contact Feedback
Feel with the palm of your hand, just like with real objects. The active haptic strap applies varying pressure to the palm during interactions with virtual objects.

Force feedback
Magnetic friction brakes apply resistance to emulate the size and stiffness of an object. Four brakes, thumb to ring finger, each deliver up to 20 N.

Vibrotactile feedback
A voice coil actuator in the hub renders button clicks, vibrations, and impacts. The thumb and index finger each have their own vibrotactile actuator.
Finger tracking
Four sensors capture flexion and extension of the thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers, and one captures thumb abduction, combined with computer vision hand tracking.
Trackers and controllers on the gloves
Some headsets limit access to camera data, so SenseGlove gloves also use external tracking: controllers on Meta headsets, trackers on HTC headsets, mounted on top of the gloves.
Channel XR confirms the headset and tracking setup before quoting.

SenseGlove R1
Haptic gloves for tele-robotics
Engineered for control of humanoid robotic hands, the SenseGlove R1 (formerly Project Rembrandt) blends active force feedback, precise force control, millimeter-level accuracy in finger tracking, and vibrotactile feedback.
- Standalone or mounted to a haptic arm
- ROS and Python SDKs
- Imitation learning data collection, including force perception
- Customization available

Active force feedback
A 1 kHz control loop renders the robot's applied forces to the operator's hand, with real-time pressure sensing.
Finger tracking
Accurate finger tracking across all five fingers, for tasks such as micro-component assembly and precise maintenance.

Vibrotactile feedback
Vibration patterns cue contact location, texture, and intensity.
