MANUS Core licensing
Channel XR quotes MANUS Core with each glove system. Choose the edition by where the hand data goes, then choose subscription or perpetual.
MANUS Core Robotics
For hand data that drives robots or your own code.
- Robot stacks: NVIDIA Isaac Teleop, ROS2
- Code: C++ SDK, Python SDK, Linux support
- Raw sensor data
MANUS Core Motion Capture
For hands combined with a body capture system or an XR or visualization tool.
- Body capture: Cortex, FZMotion, NOKOV, Noitom, Noraxon, OptiTrack, Qualisys, Vicon, Xsens
- XR and visualization: Autodesk VRED, IC.IDO, Siemens, WorldViz
- Audio: Ableton Live
- Raw sensor data

Questions we hear
Which MANUS Core edition do we need?
MANUS Core Robotics when the hand data drives a robot or your own code: C++ and Python SDK, ROS2, NVIDIA Isaac Teleop, and Linux. MANUS Core Motion Capture when the hands join a body capture system such as OptiTrack, Vicon, Qualisys, or Xsens, or an XR or visualization tool. Both record, export FBX and CSV, stream to Unity, Unreal Engine, and OpenXR, and give access to raw sensor data.
Can several people share one glove pair?
Yes. The Top Modules hold the electronics and move from glove to glove. Each person wears their own Sensor Gloves in their size, so a shared station needs one set of Top Modules and one pair of Sensor Gloves per person.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 3 hours of continuous use per battery, and about 2 hours to charge. Batteries swap without recalibrating, and a Charging Station keeps spares ready for longer sessions.
How far can an operator move from the computer?
The wireless dongle reaches up to 15 meters, depending on the environment. For larger spaces, the Bodypack Lite records and streams over Wi-Fi 6E from the performer.
Do the gloves place the hands in the room?
The gloves capture the fingers and hand. To place the hands in 3D space, a tracker mounts on each wrist with MANUS adapters: Vive Tracker 3.0, Meta Quest 3 controllers, optical markers, or Xsens.
Subscription or perpetual license?
An annual subscription includes updates and technical support for as long as it runs, and the software stops if it lapses. A perpetual license is one purchase with a year of updates and support; after that it keeps running on the version you have, and the annual service plan renews updates and support.
What lead time should we plan for?
Channel XR confirms lead time on every quote, by glove model, size, and quantity.
How do we buy?
Send the configurator above or contact Channel XR for a quote. Approved business accounts buy on Net 30 terms with a purchase order.
